Data Collection and Retention

We will retain a limited but necessary amount of your personal details in order to automatically book your appointment into our electronic diary system. We collect the following data from you: patient ID, name, email address, contact telephone number, postcode, date of birth and IP address. This is so we can either identify you as an existing patient of our clinic or, for new patients, create a record in our system in order to make your appointment. Data is retained in accordance with the clinic’s data retention policy.

We also collect and store the first line of your address as part of the payments process. This and the other payment information you provide is also retained by the payment processing company (PaymentSense) purely for the processing of the payment on our behalf.

Data Sharing

Processing of your personal data is pursuant to the clinic’s data protection policy, which can be obtained by contacting the clinic. This booking system does not share your information with any other systems than the Clinic and the payment processing company.
